I Should Never Have Left My Bed This Morning

Warning: This post contains, what some readers may consider, strong language.

I am not having the best of days this Wednesday. Firstly, I was precipitously woken by a loud, annoying fire alarm Read the rest of this page »

Just Another Tuesday, Heh?

Warning: This post contains, what some readers may consider, strong language.

There is nothing more satisfying than missing an English lecture, to be told in the tutorial the following day, that is was in fact, canceled. Even though I properly despise English tuts, they do have their fleeting moments of entertainment. Read the rest of this page »

A New Start: Day 1 of 365

I think college can go and (rhymes with duck) itself today. Actually, no, that can’t work because if I say that it will be “college” performing the verb (still rhymes with duck) in that sentence on me. I wish life could just pause for a instant or too at the opportune moments. When you’re enveloped in that capricious second it always seems to turn into an hour without anyone ever noticing. The Gift of Another Year

Well, as the late Amy Winehouse would say: “It’s my birthday and I’ll cry if I want to.” Well, okay not “birthday” per se, but anyhow. Untitled: Post #281

You know that feeling when you wake in the morning to find carnage all around you, like soggy shoes, phone half-broken on the ground and clothes splayed all over the floor, that it was a great, nay, epic night out. Last night was no exception, in fact, I honestly think that that was one of the greatest mares I have ever had.

Purple foam? Jax Panik? A thousand party-deprived students all stomping, jumping, shouting in unison? Yes, a recipe for one hell of a night.

Well, in the game of life, Grahamstown really pulled one over me yesterday. My Pumas are in a makeshift shoe-ICU, my clothes are mostly purple and I must’ve eaten a cheese grater too because my throat is on fire. Surprisingly enough though, I’m hangoverless, something that hasn’t happened since I was a toddler.

Anyway, I can’t type for much longer. My hands are shaking – probably from the dehydration and general lack of food. A much more detailed post shall be uploaded when I feel relatively human again. Until then, keep it classy.
